Prior to founding The Aedifos Group, Mr. Guszcza was the Senior Program Manager and Business Unit Leader for a $1.5 billion capital investment program with MWH Americas, Inc. During his time with MWH, Mr. Guszcza served as the Director of Program and Project Delivery for the Americas, and as part of MWH's UK operations. While a part of UK operations, Mr. Guszcza was seconded into Scottish Water to lead one of Scotland's most significant environmental programs as Scottish Water's Program and Senior Project Manager.
As a federal civil servant, Mr. Guszcza served as the Government Lead and Program Manager of $1 billion in reconstruction programs and projects for the Department of Defense Project and Contracting Office in the field of municipal buildings, health facilities, and schools. Mr. Guszcza also served as a program manager on multiple large-scale programs with the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Mr. Guszcza's past active duty military experience includes service as the National Director of Health Facilities for the Iraq Ministry of Health under the Coalition Provisional Authority and the Office of Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance, where Mr. Guszcza led a department of 3,000 Iraqi engineers around the country, and was responsible for 240 hospitals, 1,200 clinics, and 10 specialty centers.
Mr. Guszcza's academic background includes the MSc in Major Programmes Management at the University of Oxford. Mr. Guszcza is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is currently on the Board of WiRED International, and is a dedicated volunteer, having served on a number of relief and medical missions to distressed areas in Africa and Asia with Project HOPE.
Prior to joining Aedifos, Ms. Adams served as Director of Strategic Planning & Initiatives at the Office of Global Affairs, Office of the Provost at the University of Washington where she directed the expansion of the University's research and development collaborations in biomedical and clean energy technologies throughout China and Southeast Asia. Ms. Adams expertise and experience is in establishing the proper in-country legal and operational frameworks necessary to support major, multinational projects in global health science and technology, clean energy and environmental remediation; and managing public private partnerships.
Prior to her time at the University, Ms. Adams worked as an Industry Liaison for the Law Offices of Garvey, Schubert & Barer in Seattle, where she provided policy research and support services to strategic global initiatives and industry partnerships such as the National Center for Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation.
Ms. Adams' educational background consists of a B.A. in International Policy and Economics from the University of Washington, and a J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law.
Prior to joining Aedifos, Mr. Wageman worked for MWH Global, where he was responsible for implementing, mentoring, and instructing enterprise project management solutions, including best project management practices, business process development and improvement, and the Primavera suite of software tools, to various clients across the United States.
Over his 40-year career, Mr. Wageman has provided Project Controls for a wide-array of service sectors and industry, including the Vertical / Civil Construction, Environmental Remediation, Strategic Computing, and Aeronautics industries.
Mr. Wageman is certified as an Earned Value Professional (EVP); Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP); Certified Cost Consultant (CCC); and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Mr. Wageman proudly served in the United States Army for eight years, and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from University of New Mexico. He is an active member of the AACE International Seattle Section, having served in numerous board positions over the years. In his private life, Mr. Wageman is an avid music lover and trained percussionist, and enjoys playing the drums whenever he can.
Prior to joining The Aedifos Group, Ms. Janhsen was the Public Outreach Project Manager for Knudson, LP, facilitating and supervising all Public Outreach Campaigns for the firm. Ms. Janhsen also served as a marketing and communications leader within Knudson, conceiving and launching the new Knudson branding campaign. During her time with Knudson, Ms. Janhsen provided Public Outreach and Inter-Agency Coordination services for a number of public-sector clients, including the Houston-Galveston Area Council, the City of Houston, and the Harris County Toll Road Authority, and provided Communications Support to several Programs, including the Harris County Disaster Recovery Program in response to Hurricane Ike.
Prior to joining Knudson, Ms. Janhsen worked at MWH Americas, Inc. in support of the British Petroleum Exploration Alaska Lifecycle Program and Lifecycle Communication Plans in Anchorage, Alaska.
Ms. Janhsen believes the distinction between a good Program and a great Program can be summarized with one word: communication. From internal Communications, to establishing and executing external Program Communication Plans, Ms. Janhsen approaches the business of Program Management with the knowledge that a great idea is useless, if it isn't communicated effectively.
Ms. Janhsen holds a B. A. in English. She is devoted to giving back to her community and has served as a volunteer for the Texas Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and as a fundraiser for various organizations and causes, such as the American Diabetes Association-Tour de Cure.
